Arbroath RBLS Pipe Band are taking on our biggest ever fund raising effort to date. We are delighted to announce that we are to adopt the ‘Red Lichtie’ tartan. The tartan designed by The Tartan Artisan depicts histories and traditions of the town and will bring a bright new look to the band.

The band has worn the Ancient Lindsay tartan since its formation in 1972. Although we have added to the stock over the years, the original kilts are still in use today but are in urgent need of repair or replacement.

We intend to start on our fund raising efforts very soon and look forward to wearing the ‘Red Lichtie’ tartan with pride as we play at events and competitions locally and nationally.
